A new feature article from researchers at Keele and Nottingham Universities has been published in Stem Cells Translational Medicine. The team have investigated the effectiveness of remotely activated mechanotransduction to stimulate more effective bone repair. Mechanotransduction is an important factor in bone metabolism and post operative repair and the combination of growth factor delivery and nanoparticle-directed mechanical stimulation presents an opportunity for optimised approaches for the rapid restoration of functional bone.

More information on this achievement can be found in a recent PRWeb press release.
